Grains Connect is a new player in Alberta and Saskatchewan, building six state of the art grain terminals to connect Canadian farmers to worldwide markets.

We were commissioned to capture the progress and completion of this brand new grain terminal in Maymont, SK.

Photography of this project was started mid 2017 while the terminal was under construction with our latest visit showcasing the terminal in operation loading the first set of rail cars.

It took a global effort to bring this project to life. The main connection is Grain Corp from Australia along with financial backing from Japanese investors. With the scale of a project like this, celebrating the major milestones was a priority to the founders—people flew in from all over the world—and to do that we had to document the entire process. They needed powerful visuals for marketing to local farmers and progress images to share with the different partners around the world.

In total, we documented these milestones over the span of two and a half years travelling across Saskatchewan and Alberta.
